Meet Your Certified Mycologist
Founded in 2020 by Certified Mycologist Cody Reeves and Herbalist Janet Reeves, our work began as Highlands Cannabis Co. and Hippy Chick Natural Solutions — and has since evolved into a mission-driven fusion of science, tradition, and conscious healing.
Cody brings deep expertise in psilocybin biology, history, harm reduction, microdosing practices, and pharmacology. He also holds specialized certification in Understanding Psilocybin: Effects, Neurobiology, and Therapeutic Approaches through the Psychedelic Support Network. His dedication to responsible, research-backed cultivation earned him recognition as a Finalist in the Colorado Psychedelic Cup.
Before stepping into the world of mycology and plant medicine, Cody lived an entirely different life of service and craftsmanship.
A proud U.S. Army Veteran of the 359th Transportation Battalion, he served in Operation Enduring Freedom (2002) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003). After the military, he attended the Culinary Institute of America and became the first Certified Cannabis & Extract Chef recognized by the American Culinary Foundation in Maine.
Together, Cody and Janet have collected an impressive range of awards across their journey in plant medicine, wellness, and community advocacy.
Cody and Janet continue to blend science, craft, and heart into everything they create — helping others explore healing, balance, and the powerful natural world around us.
